(21 October 2019, Hong Kong) – Intron Technology Holdings Limited (“Intron Technology” or the “Group”; HKEX: 1760), a fast-growing automotive electronics solutions provider in China, has partnered with Kalray from France (Euronext Growth Paris: ALKAL), a leader in intelligent processors and Artificial Intelligence (AI) chips, wherein the two parties signed an agreement to join force to help automotive makers and brands that manufacture motors vehicles (OEMs) in China build advanced AI and high-performance computing systems.
Kalray has over 10 years of experience in the industry serving customers from various fields such as server manufacturers, intelligent system integrators, and consumer product manufacturers, including auto makers. Strategic partnerships has been publicly announced with the Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance, Baidu and the Autoware Foundation.
Partnering with Kalray means Intron Technology will enhance its technological capability in the development of AI and to offer better engineering support as well as tailored system solutions to its OEMs customers in China. Coupled with its customisation engineering service, Intron will offer Kalray’s Massively Parallel Processor Array (MPPA) Intelligent Processors and acceleration cards to major Chinese OEMs targeting next generation of AI and high performance computing systems. With Kalray’s technology, the two parties will also work together in developing AI-empowered solutions, thereby drive advancement of the intelligent vehicle industry in China.
