The "Intron - Infineon Technical Workshop" was held successfully in Infineon global headquarters at Munich on 3rd – 4th August 2017. The event was led by Mr. PY Ferrard, Global DEM Corp. Vice President, and Mr. Deyoung Chan, APAC DEM Vice President. Management of Intron led a team of 16 people to attend the event.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Anton Mueller, Infineon Global ATV Vice President, on behalf of the Infineon Group's management, extended a warm welcome to Intron and expressed admiration and heartfelt thanks to the team for the glorious achievements over the years. While Mr. Eddie Chan and Mr. Philip Chan, the Co-Chairman and General Manager of Intron respectively, on behalf of the Intron team expressed the deeply appreciation to the Infineon headquarters for the arrangement this event, as well as the support of Infineon China local team offered to Intron for the past years.
Management of both sides had reached consensus on both product development in future and promotion of further cooperation. Intron Co-Chairman – Mr. Eddie Chan introduced an innovated module that Intron tailor made to service customers in Greater China region, including software development based on cloud technology, engineering technology service targeting specific customer needs and technology development cooperation with local PRC automotive brands etc. The General Manager of Intron – Mr. Philip Chan, further added that Intron will continue to deepen P2S (product to system) strategy, with excellent business development capabilities and strong technical support, become a solid link between Infineon and users.
As Mr. Anton Mueller put forward, Intron and Infineon will continue to work together in the future to demonstrate the combined advantages of Infineon's technology, as well as Intron’s demand creation and innovation to adopt new trends and changes in the market, to achieve greater success in the Greater China market.

During the two-days of meeting, staffs from both marketing and engineering divisions from each company had exchanged ideas and carried out in-depth discussion on the issues with common concern, with fruitful discussion on the cooperation of future solution development. Intron team had updated the latest market and technology trends, and have demonstrated the newly developed demo and turn-key solutions which based on Infineon’s products. Infineon's marketing experts from all divisions also briefed Intron on the latest product roadmap, promotion strategy, and success stories outside Greater China (Europe, Japan and North America).

We are proud to mention that Intron is the first distributor whose had held such technical workshop with Infineon at its headquarters. Since 2005 as Intron signed as Infineon ATV authorized distributor, Intron had proven constant glorious achievement, and winning a number of annual awards from Infineon. In recent years, Intron had applied diversification strategy on all Infineon divisions, with base on ATV and to strengthen the business development in the area of PMM, IPC and CCS. Intron crossed the €100M mark on both the procurement and sales of Infineon products in 2016 fiscal year, and we expect more breakthrough is yet to come! This excellent result is the fruit of Intron unremitting efforts and struggle for all these years, as well as the benefit from the long-standing cooperation with Infineon!
